Creamy Quinoa and Hemp Seed Porridge

A whole foods porridge to start your day!

 ¾ cup quinoa flakes
 1 cup homemade hemp seed milk (see link below)
 1 cup water
 2 tbsp maple syrup
 ¼ tsp sea salt
 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
 ½ tsp ground ginger
 1 tbsp goji berries (optional)
To serve
 1 cup berries (fresh or frozen)
 2 tsp chia seeds
 2 tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter)
 2 tbsp coconut shavings
 2 tbsp new hemisphereâ„¢ Hemp Seed Hulled

Combine the quinoa flakes, hemp seed milk, water, maple syrup, sea salt, cinnamon, ginger, and goji berries (optional) in a small saucepan.

Bring to the boil over a medium-high heat then reduce to a gentle simmer.

Cook for a further three minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if you wish for a thinner consistency.

Place berries in a small saucepan with a splash of water. Heat gently until bubbling then place aside. Add the chia seeds and let the mixture sit for five minutes to thicken.

To serve, divide between two bowls and top with the nut butter, berry mixture, coconut shavings, and new hemisphereâ„¢ Hemp Seed Hulled.
